Training

NCSG believes that a competent worker is a worker who is adequately qualified, suitably trained, and has sufficient experience to safely perform work. NCSG provides general and specialized safety and related training throughout all levels of the organization.

All employees are expected to participate in the identified training for their required duties and responsibilities, the safe operation of equipment, and the requirements for particular work sites and specific work conditions. All competencies and training are tracked through our Virtual Training Assistant (VTA) which creates a unique training profile for each employee based on job title, location, site and specific training groups.

Training Simulator for Crane Operators

NCSG’s new fully interactive 3D crane simulator enhances our capabilities to train and evaluate our crane operators before they are sent to a job.

Jack & Slide Training

Utilizing an all-encompassing jack-and-slide training program, NCSG seeks to educate new and existing workers in standard procedures and guidelines while ensuring that base level expectations regarding safety are clearly communicated. This education program progresses to the next level in applying an evaluation process that is monitored for consistency and quality on all levels.

Driver Evaluations

Driver evaluations are an essential tool in determining a driver’s overall competency. NCSG utilizes an Internal Driver Developer for the purpose of creating and delivering in-cab training and mentoring materials. This ensures that our drivers meet the highest standards.
